          Obtaining[]

          Gold Ore is located deep underground, usually around layer 9-16, in groups of 3-5. Gold Ore may be found at any elevation in Mesa Biomes.

          Gold Ore can only be mined with an Iron Pickaxe or above.

          Smelting[]

          Usage[]

          Gold Ore is used to obtain Gold Ingots through smelting.

          Trivia[]

          • Even though the Ore was added in Update 0.1.0, it couldn't be smelted into Gold Ingots until Update 0.3.2.
          • Gold Ore is the only ore which cannot be mined with a tool of its own tier (i.e a Gold Pickaxe).
